• Frame: The distance from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin should be between 25 and 35 mm. The eye height of the person visible in the photo should also be between 28 and 35 mm from the bottom of the photo (not the bottom of the chin)
• Content: The applicant's face (from the top of the head, including the hair, to the bottom of the chin) should occupy between 50% and 69% of the image's height
• Digital Photo: The photo size must be between 600 x 600 px and 1200 x 1200 px
• Format: The only image format allowed is JPEG. Make sure that your image is not a PNG file.
• File Size: The photo format cannot be more than 240 kB (kilobytes)
• Background: The photo should be taken in front of a plain white or off-white background. There should not be any pattern or objects in the background 
• Brightness: Both sides of your face must be equally lit. There should not be any shadow on your face, and the lighting should not be over- or underexposed 
• Quality: Submit a high-resolution photo that is not blurry, grainy or pixelated.
• Glasses: You are not permitted to wear glasses or sunglasses in your photo. If you cannot take off your glasses for medical reasons, you will need to include a signed document with your application.
• Expression: Keep a neutral facial expression or a natural smile, with both eyes open and your mouth closed. Face the camera directly with your full face in view and make sure that both sides of your face are evenly lit
• Clothing: You are not allowed to wear a uniform, clothing that resembles a uniform or camouflage attire. It is advised to wear your daily, casual clothes
