This Privacy Policy (hereinafter: "Privacy Policy") can be interpreted as the policy of AiPassportPhotos concerning the processing of your personal data garnered through the website: aipassportphotos.com. ( hereinafter: "Service") and through dedicated mobile applications ("Mobile Applications").
Personal Information refers to information pertaining directly or indirectly to you as a natural person. (“Personal Information”)
The legal basis for processing your personal data is a contract - Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), ("GDPR"). The legal basis for processing your personal data also includes the legitimate interest of the data controller - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, which involves collecting information that allows the data controller to continuously improve the quality of services provided within the Mobile Application and the Service and to tailor their functionalities to the needs of the User, as well as your consent - Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Data collection
As an online passport photo app to offer high-quality service to you, we have to collect and store the following data about users:
1. Picture;
2. Information necessary to issue an invoice if the User requests it;
3. Information received during the complaint process, if the User lodges a complaint;
4. Information received while assisting the User in the operation of the Service.

Payment providers may provide transaction status, payer information and payment tokens necessary for payment reconciliation. AiPassportPhotos does not store full payment-card credentials unless expressly disclosed.
Purpose, legal ground and duration of data processing
We utilize and process the above information in order to perform the contract/service and to comply with legal obligations incumbent on AiPassportPhotos, e.g. issuing or storing invoices, responding to complaints, ensuring warranty or on the basis of our legitimate interest, in order to store evidence for the purpose of proving the fulfillment of legal obligations, investigation of claims or defense against claims.
We store this information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed, in particular for the period during which we are obliged to store the data or fulfil other legal obligations or the period for which claims are barred.
How do we use uploaded data (images, videos)?
Uploaded images and videos are processed confidentially and transferred using SSL/TLS encryption. They are used only to provide the requested processing. Limited disclosure to contracted hosting, processing, support, security and payment providers may occur where necessary to provide the Service, comply with law or handle disputes. Files are deleted according to the retention period stated in this Policy. However, usage statistics (without images) will be stored for customer relationship purpose only in case you need to speak to us.We do not provide storage services, file hosting, cloud drive, or backup services for user-uploaded photos or files.
How do we handle face data?
· We use automated image-processing technology to adjust the size and position of an uploaded image based on visual position information such as the eyes, chin and top of the head, and crop it according to the selected ID-photo specifications.
· We use third-party cloud provider to process and edit photographs.
· Only the selected photos are uploaded to the cloud for editing.
· Photos are temporarily cached on the cloud servers during the editing process.
· Photos remain in the cloud for a very short period of 1 hours after you have last edited the photograph, so that you can access the image and make additional modifications if you choose to do so.
· We do not use the photos you provide for any reason other than to provide you with the portrait editing functionality.
In addition, we have increased the recognition and control of sensitive images to prevent users from uploading pornographic, violent, terrorist, politically sensitive and other content information. After the user uploads the original image, sensitive content will be identified immediately, and our function will be used only if the image content is compliant.
Disclosure of data
In a general sense, we do not sell, share or transfer information we collect to others unless we are required to do so under generally applicable law or when your information is needed to provide services to you, for the purposes and as described below:
Service providers: Entities entrusted with the processing of your personal data belong to the category of providers of infrastructure and IT solutions, e.g. in order to personalize and optimize our service.
Payment service providers: AiPassportPhotos will provide your personal data to the extent necessary in order to process your payment via the electronic payment provider of your choice.
Countries other than your country of residence: We may also share your data with entities located in countries other than your country of residence. Therefore, your personal data may be subject to different privacy laws than those applicable in your country of residence.
Processing of personal data of EEA residents: As described below, if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), our processing of your personal data will be legitimized: Whenever we ask for your consent to the processing of your personal data, such processing will be justified under Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (UK) (GDPR).
Children
The protection of the privacy of minors is particularly crucial. For this reason, no part of the Service is intended for persons under 16 years of age.
Acceptance of these conditions
By using our services, you accept this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, please do not use AiPassportPhotos service. Material changes will be identified, and separate consent will be obtained where required by law. Continued use is not treated as consent where affirmative consent is legally required.
