In this section, we will introduce how to get SSS ID through in-person visits according to your status and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Employers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SSS registration might differ subject to your company type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For single proprietorships, applicants just need to complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForms_ER_Registration.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Employer SSS Registration Form<\/a> (R-1) as well as and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForms_Employment_Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">SSS Employment Report<\/a> (R-1A) and submit them at the SSS office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For partnerships, applicants should also include both a photocopy and an original copy of the Articles of Partnership except for the two forms above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For corporations, applicants should also present both a photocopy and an original copy of the Articles of Incorporation besides the two forms which should be filled by the company&#8217;s president or a corporate officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Employees<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gather supporting documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForms_Personal_Record.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">SSS Form E-1<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit applications at the nearest SSS branch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay the initial contribution according to your monthly income.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for approval and receive your SSS number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Self-employed Persons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The procedures are similar to those for employees, but self-employed persons should complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForms_SE_Data_Record.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">SSS Form RS-1<\/a>. Supposing that you have employees, you should also apply as an employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>OFWs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSS requirements and applications are the same as those for employees. If the applicant already has an SSS number, you can keep using it by reactivating the membership. When choosing the payor type for contribution payments, remember to choose \u201cOFW\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kasambahays<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a kasambahay who performs domestic household tasks for you, you are supposed to register him\/her with SSS through the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForm_Unified_Registration_Form_Kasambahay.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Kasambahay Unified Registration Form<\/a>, which can be done by yourself or your kasambahay. Fill out the form for each person if you have more than one kasambahay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sss.gov.ph\/sss\/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForm_Unified_Registration_Form_HouseholdER.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Household Employer Unified Registration Form<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philhealth.gov.ph\/downloads\/kasambahay\/Household_Employment_Unified_Report_Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Household Employment Unified Report Form<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the forms along with proof of identity of the Kasambahays at the SSS office, which can be made by yourself, the kasambahay, or an authorized representative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Voluntary Members<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It includes all unemployed persons and non-working spouses. The former should fill out SSS Form RS-5 and provide the existing SSS number. When paying the initial contribution, the previous SSS membership will shift to a voluntary payer status. The latter should fill out SSS Form NW-1 signed by both non-working and working spouses.
